Frank Egan is the Chief Executive Officer of LAC Lawyers and has over 29 years of experience as a lawyer. Position: Special Counsel
Tony is the current lecturer in charge and chief examiner of the tax unit at Master’s level at Latrobe University. In addition to completing his Doctorate, Tony is also currently undertaking research on Globalizing Tax Information Exchange Agreements between Tax Havens and Non Tax Havens. As part of his research, complementing his tax practice, Tony’s main focus is on tax where he provides realistic advice and opinions on International Tax, Tax Treaties, Tax Avoidance, CFC’s and Tax Evasion.
Name: John Bingham B.A. (Ec.), LL.B.
Position: Solicitor
Since joining LAC Lawyers, John's focus is Business & Commercial law (including maritime law), property law and conveyancing, commercial litigation (including defamation), industrial & employment law and Wills & Estate disputes. He is an extremely dedicated practitioner whose aim is to protect his clients and achieve the best possible outcome for them. Apart from his interests in legal education and assisting the community, his principal interests are sailing, swimming, photography and music as time permits.

Position: Solicitor
The skill and art of verbal communication is an important key to Adrian’s success of becoming a competent lawyer. He is able to empathize in order to properly understand the needs and concerns of the clients. Further as a result of having acted for numerous financial institutions and companies in Malaysia, Adrian possessed analytical skills to identify the potential legal issues that must be addressed and then to formulate a plan to reach a result that is consistent with the desires of the client as well as the requirements of the law.

Maria has extensive experience in the Local, District and Supreme Courts of NSW and has comprehensive knowledge of their respective rules and regulations in both the civil and criminal jurisdiction. In recent times Maria's Supreme Court experience has involved acting for both creditors and debtors in the winding up of companies.

Katherine was admitted to practice as a lawyer in 2000. Before joining LAC Lawyers Pty Ltd, Katherine worked for both boutique and larger firms as a commercial lawyer. Katherine has acted for both corporations and individuals and her experience lies in business, general commercial and property law. She has a sound understanding of the challenges facing commercial businesses. Katherine also has experienced in drafting wills, estate planning and estate litigation.

Alexandra encourages all potential clients to seek advice from a legal representative at the earliest possible opportunity. It happens all too often that we see clients who have acted without legal representation to their own detriment. Alexandra believes that although lawyer's costs may be perceived as high, they do not compare to what they could be without the help of a properly qualified legal professional.

Michael Pickering is our most senior solicitor employed in the Melbourne Branch of LAC Lawyers Pty Ltd. He deals with a wide range of matters. He has over 30 years experience as a lawyer which he applies for the benefit of clients whether large or small.

Charuna is particularly dedicated to the preservation of the legal rights of the individual and the prevention of the innocent being convicted of a criminal offence. A natural advocate with a thorough knowledge of family law and criminal law and procedure, Charuna has an excellent record of delivering outstanding results for her clients in and out of Court in settlements, defended hearings and in sentencing matters.

It was while studying at Macquarie University in the Humanities that I chose to move eventually into the legal industry. I find both the study and practise of law to never fail to hold my interest. I have now gained experience in a range of law practices in both Sydney and country New South Wales and within various areas of law including property law and civil litigation generally.
