Frank Egan B.A., LL.B., A.C.L.A., F.T.I.A. (Notary)

Position: Chief Executive Officer

Frank Egan is the Managing Director of LAC Lawyers and has over 30 years experience as a lawyer. Frank heads up our taxation group and specialises in both onshore and offshore taxation arrangements including tax havens. He does not deal with any indirect taxation matters e.g. land tax, stamp duty or payroll tax. He is available to advise clients whether corporate or private on large, serious or complicated matters.

Peter Chandra LL.M. (Notary)

Position: Legal Practitioner Director

Peter Chandra’s mission is to achieve success for clients, LAC Lawyers Pty Ltd and everyone at LAC Lawyers Pty Ltd through honesty, sincerity, integrity, promptness and excellence in provision of legal services and administration.

Charles Gargoura

Position: Victorian General Manager

Charles is our Victorian General Manager who heads a dedicated and experienced team of Lawyers. When contacting our main office in Victoria on 1300 734 638 please ask for Charles, he is an extremely experienced senior company executive who will make you feel at ease when discussing your matter.

Tony Anamourlis B.A., LL.B., MTaxLaw, GradDipLegPrac, SJD Candidate (La Trobe); ATIA

Position: Special Counsel

Tony is the current lecturer in charge and chief examiner of the tax unit at Master’s level at Latrobe University. In addition to completing his Doctorate, Tony is also currently undertaking research on Globalizing Tax Information Exchange Agreements between Tax Havens and Non Tax Havens. As part of his research, complementing his tax practice, Tony’s main focus is on tax where he provides realistic advice and opinions on International Tax, Tax Treaties, Tax Avoidance, CFC’s and Tax Evasion.

Michael Pickering B.A., LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M., M. A.

Position: Senior Solicitor

Michael Pickering is our most senior solicitor employed in the Melbourne Branch of LAC Lawyers Pty Ltd. He deals with a wide range of matters. He has over 30 years experience as a lawyer which he applies for the benefit of clients whether large or small.

Mark Bostock LL.B., B.Bus.

Position: Solicitor

Mark has joined LAC Lawyers as a solicitor after seven years experience in a General Practice in Brisbane. Mark is a compassionate and proactive professional determined to gain the best results for his client's whatever their circumstances. Mark also has experience having previously worked for a private sector charitable organisation.

Kelly Chau LL.B.

Position: Solicitor

Kelly is a solicitor with experience in the areas of bankruptcy and insolvency law and general and commercial litigation.She is currently undertaking a Master of Commercial and Corporate Law at the University of New South Wales.

Alexandra Egan B.Ec, LL.B.

Position: Solicitor

Alexandra encourages all potential clients to seek advice from a legal representative at the earliest possible opportunity. It happens all too often that we see clients who have acted without legal representation to their own detriment. Alexandra believes that although lawyer's costs may be perceived as high, they do not compare to what they could be without the help of a properly qualified legal professional.

Scott Gray LPAB, Grad. Dip. Legal Practice

Position: Solicitor

Scott is result driven and strives to ensure each client achieves complete satisfaction throughout the life of their matter. He understands the stress that many clients experience and is always available to assist and discuss specific requirements as well as explain industry processes and procedures in a clear and concise manner.

Jonathan Lim B.A., LL.B. (Hons)

Position: Solicitor

Jonathan is a solicitor with years of experience specialising in all major areas of tax law, as well as issues relating to self-managed superannuation funds. He studied at Sydney University, where he received first class honours in law and a High Distinction in Personal Taxation.

Antonio Mancia LL.B. (Rome), LL.B. (ANU),

Position: Solicitor

Antonio has joined LAC Lawyers as a solicitor after working for over seven years with a litigation firm in Parramatta. In 2003 Antonio worked as in-house legal advisor to the ACT Chief Minister and provided advice on the implementation of new State legislation.

Angelita Manlangit LL.B.

Position: Solicitor

Angelita is a passionate and dedicated lawyer who understands the complexity and emotional aspect associated with Court procedures, particularly in matters such as Criminal Law and Family Law.

Patrick Mulligan B.A., LL.B.

Position: Solicitor

Patrick has a proven track record in achieving positive outcomes for clients in a range of matters. His philosophy is that hard work, continuous study of the law, listening to clients, excellent customer service and providing commonsense solutions to complex legal issues is the key to success.

Carmel Stagnitti LL,B. (Hons.) , Grad.Dip. (Legal Practice) , BA. (PolStuds) , Adv.Dip. (Criminal Justice)

Position: Solicitor

Before joining LAC Lawyers, Carmel worked for Victoria Legal Aid and the Office of Public Prosecutions, gaining experience in civil procedure and criminal prosecutions within the Victorian Court System. Carmel fights hard for her clients, and remains focused on obtaining excellent outcomes in a timely and cost effective manner.

Jana Whitby B.A., LL.B. (Hons.)

Position: Solicitor

Jana is a solicitor who has built a great reputation amongst Court staff, her peers, and clients alike, for her steely determination, aptitude and ability. She is passionate about all of her matters whether be it acting for an individual or alternatively a large corporation, and approaches them with vigour, drive and a level of commitment which is unsurpassed.

As Marketing Manager of LAC Lawyers I am actively involved in bringing our brand to market in the best way possible. At LAC Lawyers we have developed a strategic approach to the way we market our firm and we are currently one of the fastest growing firms in the country with an annualised growth rate in excess of 25%.

Laurel Bradshaw Adv. Dip. Conv.

Position: Licensed Conveyancer

It was while studying at Macquarie University in the Humanities that I chose to move eventually into the legal industry. I find both the study and practise of law to never fail to hold my interest. I have now gained experience in a range of law practices in both Sydney and country New South Wales and within various areas of law including property law and civil litigation generally.

Clare's experience at LAC Lawyers has enabled her to work with all the solicitors assisting them wherever she can as well as gaining further valuable experience and to provide continuing support in this flexible and stimulating environment.

Jill is one of our most dedicated paralegals, practising in our Carlton office. Jill assists a number of solicitors in our Carlton office in areas including Family Law, Debt Recover, Wills, Commercial Law, Litigation and Conveyancing.
