DNA parentage testing

The child support agency had garnished a client’s wages to pay child support for his ex-wife’s ‘illegitimate’ child. The event that lead to the separation was when the client had returned home to find his wife in bed with another man. The wife relocated to an unknown location interstate and pursued the client for child support notwithstanding the highly questionable parentage of the child. The client did not know where his wife and the child had gone, yet she still pursued him for child support. We filed an application for DNA parentage testing, which was served care of the Child Support Agency. We obtained orders to void the CSA assessment and remove the client’s name from the child’s birth certificate.
