A client was advertising on their website with original copyright material to be used only on the terms and conditions cited on their website. The client while searching the internet stumbled on another website which used their materials and actually copied the words and phrases used by our client.
A letter was sent to the offending operator of the other website to remove the copyright material and offending words and phrases and our client was advised to take up the necessary trade mark applications to further protect their intellectual property. The other website removed the copyright material and removed the offending words and phrases.
