Q. My car was recently repossessed by a finance company whilst I was overseas on holidays.  Isn’t this a breach of privacy?

A. No.  In most cases repossessions are effected because instalments have remained unpaid for some time forcing the finance company to repossess property the subject of the loan.  All they are doing is exercising their legal rights and this does not constitute a breach of privacy.
