Alexandra Egan is admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales who practices in our Chatswood office. She holds both an Economics degree from the University of Sydney and a Law degree from the University of Technology, Sydney and has worked for LAC Lawyers for 5 years as a paralegal and now as a solicitor. Alexandra's focus is on practicing in Taxation Law, Employment law, Business and Commercial law and Debt Recovery and Insolvency law. Alexandra is available to advise clients in all matters falling within these areas.

Communication is the key to Alexandra's approach as she believes that a relationship between solicitor and client that is transparent is best. Clients deserve to be informed at all stages regarding the costs and aspects of their matter and their legal representatives deserve to be informed of all matters material to their client's case.

Alexandra encourages all potential clients to seek advice from a legal representative at the earliest possible opportunity. It happens all too often that we see clients who have acted without legal representation to their own detriment. Alexandra believes that although lawyer's costs may be perceived as high, they do not compare to what they could be without the help of a properly qualified legal professional.

Matters in which Alexandra has been involved in:

  • Local Court proceedings: Issuing process in the small and general claims divisions of the Local Court of NSW, filing all relevant documents, attending pre-trial reviews and hearings in the Local Court of NSW for the recovery of monies owed.
  • Bankruptcy proceedings: Involving the recovery of unpaid monies by issuing bankruptcy notices, creditor's petitions and attending hearings in the Federal Magistrates Court of Australia.
