Bob Haines has over 40 years experience. Early in his legal career Bob was managing partner of the Canberra Office of his then partnership for 5 years. This experience gave Bob an excellent grounding in people skills and in various areas of the law including public liability, employer liability, domestic and commercial conveyancing, acting for a building society and being on annual retainer by a major foreign embassy to provide constitutional, political and legal advice.
Thereafter on his return to the Sydney Office of his then partnership Bob specialised in all aspects of insurance law including:

- Products Liability
- Employer Liability
- Indemnity Disputes
- Policy Wording
- Policy Drafting
- Subsequently, by way of merger, Bob became a partner in a large national law firm where he also gained experience acting for Local Councils and a Local Council Insurance Pool.
- Bob joined LAC Lawyers as a paralegal some 4 years ago where he utilises his long experience in the handling of all such matters as are listed above.
- Bob has also gained experience at LAC Lawyers in commercial disputes and commercial litigation.
- Bob applies alternative dispute resolution techniques when appropriate to assist in resolving disputes
