I am currently completing my Bachelor of Arts at Sydney University as well as starting my Bachelor of Laws at Macquarie University this year. I have worked for LAC Lawyers for almost two years and it has been during this time that I have developed a keen interest in the law. At LAC I have been offered many opportunities to expand my skill base as I have been able to participate in different facets of the practice to gain an insight into the practical side of the law.
As a paralegal at LAC Lawyers I am involved in a number of duties, these include; file management, trust accounting, credit control, legal research, filing and preparation of court documents. In addition, I have been heavily involved in the marketing side of the firm taking a major role in the preparation and launch of the new website as well as managing the firms advertising campaigns. At LAC I have been offered a unique opportunity to touch on several aspects of not only practical legal work but broader business skills that will prove invaluable in the future.
