“Currently all areas of the law are undergoing great structural change which brings with it substantial uncertainty and tremendous confusion for clients.  At LAC Lawyers we help our clients by making sense of the law through advice which is timely, easily understood and which outlines various courses of action open to them irrespective of the nature of the matter.”

Frank Egan is the Chief Executive Officer of LAC Lawyers and has over 29 years of experience as a lawyer.  Frank practises in many areas of the law and is available to advise clients on a wide range of matters.  Whether you are a corporation or an individual Frank will provide you with the same high level of service available to all his clients.

Frank’s approach is to make all clients feel comfortable by keeping them advised on all aspects of their matter, including  their prospects and costs.  He believes that clients’ best interests are served by lawyers who are committed and who regularly communicate with them about their matters.

Most legal problems arise because clients fail to take proper legal advice at an early stage.  Irrespective of the type of  problem, matters only worsen when clients act unadvised or seek advice from someone who is not a lawyer hoping to save time and cost.  Eventually the matter balloons out of control and the cost associated with recapturing it are substantial.  Here at LAC Lawyers we encourage our clients to consult us early to mitigate cost to achieve a better outcome by avoiding many of the traps and pitfalls associated with self-administered or poorly advised matters.

Matters in which Frank has been involved are:

  • Building & Construction:  Involving the recovery of unpaid monies; defective and faulty workmanship claims on domestic and commercial buildings; drafting and interpreting building contracts; and advising on insurance liabilities associated with contract works.
  • Business & Commercial Law:  Advising on distribution and licence agreements; Corporation law matters including directors’ responsibilities; personal liability of directors including tax liabilities; general commercial agreements; employment law; trade practices; asset restructuring; franchising; and business structures.
