Frank Egan is the Managing Director of LAC Lawyers and has over 35 years experience as a lawyer. Frank heads up our taxation group and specialises in both onshore and offshore taxation arrangements including tax havens. He does not deal with any indirect taxation matters e.g. land tax, stamp duty or payroll tax. He is available to advise clients whether corporate or private on large, serious or complicated matters.

Scott is result driven and strives to ensure each client achieves complete satisfaction throughout the life of their matter. He understands the stress that many clients experience and is always available to assist and discuss specific requirements as well as explain industry processes and procedures in a clear and concise manner.

Angelita Manlangit LL.B.
Position: Solicitor

Angelita is a compassionate and dedicated lawyer who understands the complexity and emotional aspects associated with going to Court, particularly in Civil & Commercial Litigation, Criminal, Family Law and Inheritance Dispute matters and at all times tries to make her clients as comfortable as possible to reduce the stress and anxiety associated with litigation. Jonathan Lim BA (Hons II) LLB (Hons I)
Position: Solicitor

Jonathan practices exclusively in Australian and International tax and superannuation law. His specialty is the handling of negotiations with the ATO with respect to serious non-compliance by high net worth individuals and businesses, particularly over many years. He also advises on business structures, offshore tax issues and self-managed superannuation fund compliance.

Maddie Balabandi B.Sc., LL.B(Hons)
Position: Solicitor

Maddie Balabandi is an active and enthusiastic lawyer who has developed an expertise in advising clients on Australian and International taxation issues. Maddie concentrates her practice on all areas of tax particularly company loans (Division 7A), tax residency and voluntary disclosures of unpaid personal and company tax.

Position: Graduate Lawyer

Remmy is a passionate young lawyer with a client-driven approach. She has a strong interest in litigation, striving to consistently achieve timely and practical results. Remmy was admitted in December 2015 and has since gained valuable experience and is a welcome addition to our busy Sydney litigation team.

Position: Consultant Barrister

Hamid Mirza was called to the Queensland bar in 2008 and has practised as a barrister-at-law since that time. He has appeared in various jurisdictions and worked with eminent Queens and Senior Counsel. Hamid’s principal areas of practise are Taxation, Commercial Law Litigation, Building & Construction Law and Wills, Estate & Inheritance Disputes.
